BC Veneer Products Ltd.’s focus is on producing high grade, fine quality veneer. We slice veneer in any thickness from 0.4mm to 4.5mm and in any length shorter than 2.819m, depending on our customers requirements. Our slicing quality is excellent with sheet consistency and reliability our continual focus.

Regular Business

BC Veneer Products Ltd. is a specialist in the production of Vertical Grain Softwood veneer. We produce a wide variety of softwood veneers that are sliced with the grain running parallel to the edges of the sheet. We produce this in Flitch, parallel clipped, precision clipped, and precision cut to length forms.

The softwood species we are currently slicing are:

  • Douglas Fir
  • Western Hemlock
  • Sitka Spruce
  • Western Red Cedar
  • Engleman Spruce
  • White Spruce.
  • Knotty White Pine (Flat Grain sliced)
  • Yellow Cedar

    • Our customers are using our softwood veneer for many uses where fine grain consistency is prized and sought after.

    BC Veneer Products Ltd. is also a specialist in the slicing of West Coast Hardwood veneer. We currently produce the following Hardwood Veneer:

  • Quilted Maple
  • Western Red Alder
  • Pacific Coast Maple
  • Birch

    BC Veneer is well known for its commitment to customers and is able to accommodate special requirements through custom orders. Our plant floor flexibility and commitment to continuous improvement allow us to produce quality veneer designed to meet our customers’ needs (based on order minimums).

    We will:
  • Slice to your thickness and length
  • Dry to your moisture content
  • Grade to your specifications
  • Clip to your width requirements
  • Assemble books to your count

    • All custom business is handled on a project by project basis with our team working closely with our customers before, during and after a custom processing log run to ensure maximum profitability for our customer is achieved.
